How our links work, and what we keep.

Links marked Paid link go through honesty.market/go and may earn us a commission from the merchant if you buy. We add tracking parameters to the merchant’s URL: ref, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and a per-visit id hm_click.

For each link visit we record: the time; the product and merchant; the exact destination URL we sent you to; a salted hash of your IP address that changes daily; the country Vercel derives from that address at the edge; the user-agent string and its client hints (browser family, platform, mobile or not); the Accept-Language header; the referring page; which page on our site the link was on; the first-party session cookie described below; and whether the user-agent identifies itself as a person’s browser, a user-directed AI agent, or a crawler. For reads of our agent endpoints we also record the platform profile URL an agent declares and any bot-authentication signature header. We do not store names, email addresses or raw IP addresses for link visits.

We set one first-party cookie, hm_sid, for 30 days, so that repeat visits from the same browser can be counted once. It contains no personal data. There are no third-party scripts on this site.

Prices and availability are what the merchant’s page showed on the date printed next to them. They are not offers by us. The purchase, the contract, the shipping and the returns are between you and the merchant.

Merchants are listed from public product data. A merchant may correct or remove a listing at any time by writing to us; we act within three business days.

Commissions, when they exist, are paid by merchants and do not change the price you pay. We do not accept payment to rank one product above another; ordering is by relevance to your query and, on list pages, by the date we last verified the data.
