Refunds & returns

We take no money, so we can refund none.

This is the page that tells you we are the wrong address for a refund, and then gives you the right one. The policy that governs your order belongs to the merchant who took your payment, and every one of them is linked below.

In effect since 2026-09-26

01Why we have no refund policy of our own

honesty.market is a register, not a shop. There is no cart here and no checkout; our UCP profile declares an empty payment_handlers object so that no agent can mistake us for a seller. We are not the merchant of record. Your card was never charged by us, so there is nothing here for us to refund, exchange or cancel.

02Whose policy applies

The merchant whose store you checked out on. Their published refund and return policy — its window, its restocking fee, who pays return shipping, what counts as a defect — governs your order in full, and their terms were the ones you accepted at checkout. Start there, and start with them.

03Every listed merchant's policy

Recorded from each merchant’s own site. Where a merchant publishes no policy at a findable address, we say so rather than leave the row looking complete — an absence is a fact about a merchant too.

04If the merchant will not put it right

Tell us anyway, through the form. We cannot compel a merchant to refund you and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can do is the thing this register exists for: record it. A merchant who does not honour their own published policy is a merchant whose listing here should not stand, and repeated reports are grounds for delisting.

Your statutory rights against the seller — including, in the United States, your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer — are unaffected by anything on this page.

05If we got the data wrong

A different matter, and squarely ours. If a price, stock status, specification or policy link on this site was wrong, tell us and we correct it within 3 business days. Every attribute carries the date we last verified it, so you can see how stale a claim was before you relied on it. That record does not entitle you to a refund from us — see clause 1 — but it does tell you, and the merchant, what we published and when.

The wider terms are at Terms of Service; what we log when you follow a link is at Privacy.
